Do you want to create the perfect sewing room?
This is the fifth of eight steps.
5. Organise Your Sewing Patterns
Sewing patterns are essential when it comes to understanding how various pieces are put together. A good filing cabinet can be useful as you try to figure things out, including where to place detailed manila envelopes.
Clear sleeves are great for quick visual sorting of your patterns.
You want to have the filing cabinet neatly organised from top to bottom because this can make it easier to sift through different patterns during the process.
If you don’t (yet) have enough patterns to fill a sewing cabinet, you could use display books, or folders. Individual folders organised however you like! Pants, tops, next to make, holiday wardrobe, cat clothes, etc.
