Whether you’re 9 or 17, Thread Den: The Next Gen’ is where young creatives learn to stitch with style and passion. Workshops cater to two age groups 9-to-12 year olds and then 13-to-17 year olds. Read class descriptions and titles carefully to ensure you are booking into the right age group.
You’ll pick up essential sewing skills, explore cool tools and fabrics, and build the confidence to create things you’ll be proud to wear or share. 
Perfect for beginners and young sewists looking to level up, The Next Gen’ is all about discovering your creativity, mastering the basics, and joining a community of future textiles and fashion stars.

We have just listed 2 programs for our school holiday sewing program (click here)
From 14 years and up, we recommend that young adults take our Sewing Basics for Beginners Course. Depending on your daughter’s preference, she might be interested in the day-time listing for the Sewing Basics starting on Monday 9th January (3 x Mondays 11am-1pm).
