Drafting instructions:
Projects 1 and 2 are made up of rectangles, you can draft these patterns directly onto a couple of A3 sheets of paper:
Week 1 – Wallet
Rectangle = 43cm x 25cm
- Notches on long sides; 14.5cm down from top & 10cm up from bottom
- Double notches on the bottom end
- Grain-line is parallel with the long sides
- Cutting instruction = cut one fabric

Week 2 – Toiletries Case
Body:
Rectangle = 34cm x 27cm
- On one long side, two notches to match the length of your zip (ours were 4cm in from each end)
- Grain-line is parallel with the long sides
- Cutting instruction = cut a pair fabric, cut a pair interfacing
Tabs:
Rectangle 20cm x 9.5cm
- Notches on the long edge in the centre on both sides
- Grain-line is parallel with the long sides
- Cutting instruction = cut one fabric
